Volunteer Training Opportunities

Friends in Action of the Eastern Panhandle will hold a volunteer training on Friday, January 8 and on Friday January 15 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at St. Agnes Parish Office Building, 200 Duke Street, Shepherdstown.  Several families are waiting for a team to help them move toward self-sufficiency.  To learn more call the Friends in Action Office at (304) 876-8500 or email Teresa Warnick at twarnick@fiaep.org.

Panhandle Home Health, Inc. is looking for volunteers to help with companionship, errands, and support for patients in our community.  Person who have an interest in becoming a volunteer but need more information to decide may want to participate in "Introduction to Home Care."  These information sessions will be held on the third Tuesday of each month in 2009, beginning on January 20, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.   For more information or to register, call (304) 263-5680 ext. 122.
