Developing a Fundraising Plan

Thursday, November 6, 2008

10:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.

Location:  TBA

Fee:  $25 per participant

If your organization needs to develop a fundraising plan, where do you start?  How do you create priorities?  Who leads? This session will help participants create a draft plan that addresses key sources of funds:  workplace giving, corporate giving, foundation grants, annual gifts, major donors, special events, and fee for service. The session is lead by Amy Owen, who has more than 12 years experience in fundraising and currently serves as the executive director of the Eastern West Virginia Community and Beth Raps, a local resident with hands-on experience in direct mail, major donor cultivation, and proposal writing. Fees cover lunch and materials.

To find out more about upcoming workshops or to suggest a topic that would benefit the nonprofit community, contact Trina Bartlett, Director of Community Impact at the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle, at (304) 596-5529 or uwepdci@comcast.net
